Let's meet Revecca Drea and her Massage

So we asked Revecca Drea what she does with her hands and she revealed to us much more..

“I recently received my MMTCP(Mindfulness Meditation Certification Programme) graduation certificate. And so I am now officially certified to teach meditation. This has been quite a journey. And it is ongoing. And I am grateful. This is a dream come true, as I remember myself back in the day, 16-17 years ago, when this journey started and I met my first teacher Sarah Coleman , thinking “I would love to do that”.

Speaking of dreams I dare say I am living quite a few of them and that it most certainly wasn’t always that way. The road was super bumpy and it has gifted me with valuable experience which allows me to relate and care in a way that I would not have been able to do without those experiences of physical as well as emotional pain. In this journey of healing and empowerment I have come to play the role of a healer on many levels. Humbled.

These are my gifts of healing and I would be honored to share them with anyone who feels a resonance:

Meditation instruction

I instruct people who have no experience, are new on this path and need guidance but also people who already have some experience and want to deepen the practice while having a gentle and sincere ally in finding a joyful discipline.

I also teach meditative tools for dealing with difficult emotions and use specific ones in an experiential manner while offering the container for difficulty to be released.

Shamanic and energy based instruction

Contemplative practices of shamanic-Toltec origin for discovering one’s Truth and intention which can be very clarifying when dealing with dilemmas and confusion as well as intense emotion. Contemplative practices for discovering what a certain pain in the body or injury is about.

Mentoring

Offering a container for healing through talking. The above tools are implemented if appropriate, according to one’s needs and guidance is offered in discovering one’s truth, needs and purpose.

Healing Dance Method

This method is a creation that came to be as a result of my personal journey and it combines meditative , contemplative practices while submerging oneself in the world of movement in a process of discovery of one’s gifts and the Wild Self ( our combination of animal and Sacred Being). It results in the release of emotions , the discovery of truth and intention , a conversation with the body , the discovery of gifts and it culminates in an Instant composition and the rediscovery of our innate joy. It can be received in groups but also in private lessons. It requires no dancing experience while it can be an enriching practice for people who are already dansers.

Hatha yoga instruction

I offer private lessons to beginners focussing on creating solid foundations, high concentration and creating a practice that suites the individual.

Healing massage

A nine year old experience offering healing touch with a variety and a mixture of techniques depending on what is needed.

The techniques I use are Breuss tech, Thai massage , chinese kneeding and acupressure, ayurvedic massage and reflexology.”
